Sharon Seo’s Biography
Korean-Canadian pianist, Sharon (Jinmyeong) Seo, completed her Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano & Coaching at University of Minnesota in States.
As a pianist, she is equipped with well-trained piano techniques, sensitive ears, exceptional sight-reading skills, creative thoughts, flexible minds, and experienced communication skills.
Sharon Seo has worked and played as a pianist with numerous instrumentalists, singers, choirs, and opera throughout South Korea, Canada, Germany, Italy, and States. As an experienced, enthusiastic, and talented piano instructor, she is able to teach diverse repertoire music in different ages and levels. She loves the process of helping students to enjoy music and develop their musical abilities. Sharon Seo is certified RCM Elementary & Intermediate Piano Specialist.
Along with piano instructor, she teaches music theory (RCM theory exams), which help students to understand music elements, such as rhythms, forms, harmony, and ear training.
She holds her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance at Brandon University in Canada, and her Master of Music in Collaborative Piano & Coaching at University of Minnesota.
